In daily life, Mario is mainly involved in running the guesthouse.
Vera likes to help, but she also has her own practice for remedial teaching. She supports and guides children with learning and / or development problems in education.
We love the peace here on the island and during the weekends we try to enjoy the sun, sea and beach. Regularly we can also be found at Sorobon Lac Bay for windsurfing.

Who we are?
We are Mario and Vera Dohmen and we have two kids, Jordie and Femke. About six years ago we had the idea to emigrate to Bonaire. After we have made a exploratory journey to Bonaire in September 2014, we make the decision to live here on this beautiful island with our children. It took a whole year with the preparation and in June 2015 we move out to this tropical piece of the Netherlands.
Our house, we have bought on Bonaire, consists of a house for ourselves and three apartments.
In February 2017 we started with our own guesthouse by receiving visitors in the apartments. We are looking forward to welcome guests from all over the world.
