Fishing on Bonaire

The deep waters surrounding Bonaire are a fisherman’s heaven. Fishinf trips on Bonaire don’t need to go out for hours before the action starts, so with the Bonaire coastline in sight, you’ll have a great time with practically no risk of sea sickness. These are great waters for catching big game, such as Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Dorado, Wahoo and Tuna. For the endangered species as Marlin and Sailfish there is a catch-and-release policy.

 

From the shore you can also fish in shallow water. But be careful if you go fishing from the side as it is prohibited to fish in places where divers and snorkelers are active.
